Preparation for École du Louvre

Founded in 1882, the École du Louvre teaches Art History, History of Civilizations, Archeology, Epigraphy, Anthropology and Museology.

Entry to the first year of the first academic cycle is open to graduates of the French Baccalauréat. Applicants are required to pass a test to assess their skills and aptitude to successfully follow the École's curriculum.

With a new team of teachers from the École well aware of what is expected, our courses aim to instill accuracy and rigor among the applicants. Our preparatory courses place the emphasis on applicants' quality of expression in French and on their general culture knowledge. Combined with an initiation to the rigorous and methodical reading of images and plans, these elements are very much the best assets for passing the test.

Classroom-based intensive course in February. From early December, a forum, lessons and preparatory exercises are available online.
